My thoughts: This is not what I was expecting when I started this book. I ended up listening to this book not really knowing what it was about, which was probably a good thing since I probably would have DNFed this book if I was reading it. I am not someone who typically reads thriller books which this one is classified as a psychological thriller. Overall, I enjoyed all of the twists and turns and truly had no idea how it was going to end.

Synopsis: Grady Green is an author whose wife goes missing after her car is found abandoned. After a year Grady heads to a remote Scotland Island for a writing retreat where he thinks he sees his missing wife. This book follows Grady as he attempts to unravel the mystery around his missing wife.

Overall I would recommend this book if you are someone who enjoys mystery/thriller books.

This book completely surprised me, but in the best way! I went in blind after reading the first book in the series earlier this year, and I ended up loving it. The cozy vibes, whimsical fantasy, and touch of romance were just perfect. Highly recommend curling up with this one during the fall or winter months.
